Athletes from the DPR won twenty-seven medals at the Koshiki Karate tournament

From February 24 to 25, the Open All-Russian competition in Koshiki karate “Cup of the Strong in Spirit – 2024” took place in Mytishchi, which was held as part of the Patriarchal International Festival of Combat Sports and Martial Arts “Cup of Equal-to-the-Apostles Nicholas of Japan.” This was reported by the administration of the Palace of Children and Youth Creativity in Donetsk.
The festival brought together about 5 thousand of the best martial arts athletes from 49 Russian regions and 7 foreign countries. Both adult and young athletes took part in competitions in 16 sports disciplines.
Donetsk residents became one of 700 karatekas who fought for victory in Koshiki karate. 28 participants from the DPR were able to adequately represent the Republic and win 6 gold, 7 silver and 13 bronze medals for their professionalism. In addition, according to the results of the team competition, the Donetsk athletes have one more silver in their treasury.
