Athletes from the Belgorod center “Vershina” took medals at the Russian Cup in Athletics

Belgorod athletes from the Vershina Center for Adaptive Sports won prizes at the Russian Athletics Cup. The competitions took place in the city of Novocheboksarsk, and about 300 athletes from 47 regions took part in them.
Athletes with musculoskeletal disorders, visual impairment and intellectual disabilities competed for medals. They competed in short, long and middle distance running, discus, javelin, mace throwing, shot put, high and long jump, and triple jump.
As a result, Yuri Nosulenko won first place, Evgenia Vysotskaya took bronze, and Denis Bazhinsky won second place.
Let us remind you that the Vershina Center for Adaptive Sports was built on the initiative of the head of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov. His opened last fall.
