Athletes from Sakhalin won the most medals in cheer sports competitions

In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, the results of the All-Russian Cheer Sports competitions, as well as the Grace Cheer Fest and Sport in the Heart festivals were summed up. The island region for the first time hosted competitions in cheer sports of this level and brought together 435 athletes from 13 regions of the country, the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Sakhalin Region reported.

“We are very pleased that despite the remoteness, so many participants came to us. We were also visited by vice-presidents of the All-Russian Cheer Sports Federation and international champions. Many noted the approach to organizing the event, as well as the level of training of the participants, ”said Christina Lyakh, President of the Sakhalin Cheer Sports Federation.

Representatives of the Primorsky, Krasnoyarsk, Perm and Khabarovsk territories, the Republic of Khakassia, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Republic of Buryatia, the Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Novosibirsk, Tver and Sakhalin regions took part in the starts. Athletes competed in the age categories “boys, girls”, “boys girls”, “juniors, juniors” and “men, women”.

“I perform in the category “chir jazz solo juniors-juniors”. The competition is small, but it intends to perform more for itself: these are my first all-Russian competitions, so I don’t want to think ahead. I trained a lot, the main thing is not to make mistakes, ”Sofia Bobrikova from South Sakhalin shared her feelings before the performance.

As part of the All-Russian competition in the discipline “chir hip hop deuce men-women”, gold was taken by Elena Kolesnikova and Polina Dubinina (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk), silver – Anastasia Goloshchapova and Alexandra Gorshkova (Perm), bronze – Daria Vlasova and Sofia Kushinnikova (Khorol, Primorsky edge).

Ruslana Zamotaeva and Alexa Yun (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk) won the gold in the “chir jazz deuces juniors-juniors”, Evgenia Lavrenova and Elizaveta Potanina (Rostov-on-Don) won silver, Daniela Boyarova and Milana Tseuneli (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk) became bronze medalists .

Alisa Bazhenova and Sofya Boyko (Voronezh) won the gold medal in the discipline “chir jazz deuce of young men-girls”, Eva Zabolotnaya and Elizaveta Potapova (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk) won silver, Margarita Budylina and Milana Enina (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk) won bronze.

Alina Astashenko and Arina Lapushko (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk) became the first in the “chir hip-hop duos” among boys and girls, Margarita Budylina and Milana Enina (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk) took the second place, Milena Zyryanova and Alisa Koshkina (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk) closed the top three Sakhalinsk).

In the discipline “cheerleading stunt partner men-women” gold – Anna Larina and Zakhar Surov (Novosibirsk), silver – Nikolai Nizhegorodtsev and Victoria Shabasheva (Vladivostok), bronze – Vasily Vershin and Taisiya Anisimova (Vladivostok).

The first place in the “cheerleading stunt” among boys and girls was won by the quartet from the club “Without Borders” (Krasnoyarsk), the second place was taken by the quintet “Fresh” (Khabarovsk Territory).

“Our program included throws, lifts, 360-degree flips and other acrobatic elements. We have been training since the beginning of this year and, as a result, became the first in the discipline,” said Sofya Krasovskaya from the “Without Borders” club.
