Athletes from Sakhalin took second place at the Russian summer ski jumping championship

Sakhalin residents took second place at the Russian Ski Jumping Championship. The competitions took place at the Russian Hills Olympic complex, the press service of the regional Ministry of Sports reported.
The championship was held in individual and team competitions. Athletes from ten regions of the country took part in it: Moscow, St. Petersburg, the republics of Bashkortostan, Karelia, Tatarstan, Perm Territory, Sverdlovsk, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod and Sakhalin regions.
On the final day of the competition, the island team consisting of Denis Gon, Maxim Kolobov, Nikita Loboda and Alexander Bazhenov managed to score 789.5 points. Sakhalin residents became silver medalists of the championship. The first place was won by skiers from the Sverdlovsk region with a score of 814.1.
