Athletes from Pomorie have 10 medals from North-West Russia in table tennis among athletes under 16 years old

The Northwestern Federal District of Russia table tennis championship among boys and girls under 16 years old has ended in the capital of Pomorie. This was reported by the Ministry of Sports of the Arkhangelsk Region.

104 participants from eight regions competed for the tournament awards: Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Kaliningrad, Leningrad, Novgorod, Pskov regions, the Republics of Karelia and Komi.

The girls’ honor of Pomorye was defended by Sofia Kuderskaya, Polina Strekalovskaya, Ulyana Molodtsova, Victoria Cheplagina and Anastasia Chernousova. The youth team included Artyom Groshev, Egor Zhilko, Eduard Shestakov, Ivan Volkov and Dmitry Mozgalev.

Arkhangelsk athletes performed excellently in both individual, pair and team competitions. The hosts of the tournament won ten medals in four disciplines.

The coaching staff has formed the North-West team, which will represent the district at the Russian Championship among boys and girls under 16 years old. It will take place from April 22 to 29 in Cheboksary.
