Athletes from Khakassia took the entire podium at the Siberian Pankration Championship

According to the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, from March 3 to 7, Berdsk hosted the children’s pankration league, the championship and championship of the Siberian Federal District in wrestling in the discipline “pankration” (traditional and classical). About 600 athletes from Siberia took part in the competition.
As a result of the championship, Khakassia’s “piggy bank” was replenished with five medals. In traditional pankration, Mikhail Bolganov won gold in the weight category up to 84 kg. Egor Borgoyakov took bronze in the up to 57 kg group.
In classical pankration, Sergey Chabodaev took second place in the category up to 100 kg, third place went to Vadim Fealkovsky and Nikolai Karamashev, in groups up to 57 kg and 92 kg, respectively.
All athletes train under the coaching guidance of Stanislav Cheltygmashev, and Sergei Chebodaev also trains with Vladislav Sultrekov.
