Athletes from Karelia won six medals at the North-West Championship

Karelian athletes excelled at the Championship of the Northwestern Federal District in mixed martial arts (MMA). How reported in the public “Sports Training Center”, the competition was held from March 23 to March 26 in the city of Velikiye Luki. In total, the athletes took 6 medals.
Thus, Saveliy Belolapov and Rihad Jafarov became the best in their weight and age categories. Silver medals were taken by Vladislav Holosha and Rostislav Kuzmichenko. But Svyatoslav Belolapov and Egor Kolesov left with bronze medals.
The team managed to earn 4 vouchers for the Russian Championship in SBE (MMA). Competitions will be organized from 26 to 29 April in the city of Sochi.
