Wrestlers from the Kaliningrad region received two medals at the Russian Federation Kyokushin Championship. The competition took place at the Moscow Martial Arts Center.
According to the press service of the government of the Kaliningrad region, 833 athletes aged 12 to 15 years from 48 regions of Russia competed for the championship. The leader of the national championship among competitors under 13 years of age and weighing over 60 kilograms was Roman Timerbulat.
Artem Plachas became the vice-champion among opponents no older than 15 years old and weighing more than 70 kilograms. The athletes are members of the Kaliningrad clubs “Seikyen” and “Samurai”.
Previously “MK in Kaliningrad” reported, that the Northwestern Federal District table tennis championship among boys and girls under 13 years of age was held in Kaliningrad. The competition took place at the Red Star stadium.
