Athletes from 55 Russian cities registered for the Terbunsky Frontier half marathon. The second rural half marathon will take place this Sunday, October 8th.
Participants will have to overcome 4 distances to choose from – 500 meters (children), 3, 10 and 21.1 kilometers. To date, participants from 15 regions and 55 cities of the Russian Federation have registered for this half marathon.
The opening of the sporting event is scheduled for 10:00. Runners will start the course at 12:00, 12:15, 12:30 and 13:00. Their route is laid along a historical place – the village of Terbuny. Each participant will receive medals, T-shirts and gifts from partners. A large-scale entertainment program is also planned for this day. The half marathon will be hosted by the famous presenter Dmitry Guberniev.
This year, the regional center received the title of the running capital of Russia.
