Athlete from Buryatia won the Spartakiad of the Russian Armed Forces

Athlete from the Zaigraevsky district of Buryatia Oksana Kotykhova won 2 medals at the Spartakiad of the Russian Armed Forces, which was held in the village of Toksovo, Leningrad Region. 93 servicemen took part in the competition, the Vperyod newspaper reports.
In the 4.2 km race, Oksana Kotykhova won the bronze of the tournament. In the 4×1000 relay as part of the Eastern Military District team, the Buryat athlete became the champion.
– In general, the start was successful! Our team won the gold of the Olympics, which means that our main task was completed. I want to thank every fan, and especially the coaches, who were very worried about me and believed in a good result until the very end,” told Sport-RB Oksana Kotykhova.
The awards of the tournament were played by 9 teams, in total 93 military men took part in the tournament.
