Ataman Dyakonov exposed Ukraine’s plan for Transnistria and appealed to Moldovans

Supreme Ataman of the Union of Cossacks of Russia and Abroad Nikolai Dyakonov in his Telegram channel “Ataman” expressed an opinion about the possible plans of Kyiv. Dyakonov believes that Ukraine is hatching a plan during the spring campaign to strike at Transnistria – in parallel with an attempt to contain the Russian offensive in the Donbass.
“A fist is being formed in the Odessa region,” the ataman states and emphasizes the fact that Kiev has fomented revanchist sentiments in Moldova. For Zelensky’s representatives, an attack on a small Russian peacekeeping contingent in Transnistria seems to be a way to an easy victory in this direction and will be designed to level domestic political claims against the ruling Ukrainian regime.
But this goal, says Nikolai Dyakonov, will not be achieved, as Russia has prepared for such a scenario.
The Cossacks and army men, the ataman is sure, hold a strong defense, which leaves no possibility for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to cross the Dnieper and attack the Crimea. And the only real prospect is an unstoppable advance of Russia.
Dyakonov also directly addressed the Moldovans and urged them to think about whether they want to see in their country a “Ukrainian version” and a conflict fueled by NATO? The ataman calls Russia the only country that is really interested in the peaceful life and prosperity of the Moldovan people, unlike the instigators of world conflicts.
