At Yudashkin’s funeral, no one approached Pugacheva except Dmitry Peskov

On May 6, Valentin Yudashkin was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery. Dozens of show business stars came to say goodbye to the fashion designer. Gazmanov, Koroleva, Vinokur, Baskov, Ukupnik, Babkina, Rosembaum, Buinov … But all the attention of journalists was focused on one person – Alla Pugacheva. The singer flew to Russia for a few days to say goodbye to a friend.

Journalists were warned in advance that farewell to Valentin Yudashkin would take place behind closed doors, and video and photography were forbidden both in the mourning hall and in the cemetery. This was the wish of the relatives of the fashion designer.

The situation was monitored by several dozen strong men. Troekurovskoye was guarded by the police and the National Guard that day. Cars with the inscription “Reaction Outfit” plied around the territory. But there was no one to respond to. As a result, the event was held in a calm, fairly democratic format.

Farewell was scheduled for 11.00. By this time, all the stars were in the collection. Few agreed to communicate with journalists. Klara Novikova said a few words to the camera, the stylist Sergey Zverev gave a speech, the words on duty were heard from Nikolai Baskov and Nikas Safronov. But really, what can I say…

In addition to show business stars, Elena Baturina came to the funeral. The woman noticeably lost weight, grew her hair. It is not surprising that no one recognized Luzhkov’s widow in the fragile lady.

– And who are you? asked the man at the entrance to the funeral hall.

– Baturina … – Elena answered in a barely audible voice.

The guard did not respond to the surname. Someone called.

– Come on…

But Oleg Gazmanov missed without question.

“The whole country knows Gazmanov by sight, here I don’t need to call anyone,” the security guard explained.

Almost all media personalities entered the funeral hall through the main entrance. They made their way through a dense crowd of Yudashkin’s fans. Even for the press secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, they did not organize a separate corridor. Naturally, the audience was happy with this state of affairs. And really, when else will you get a chance to hustle in line with celebrities.

The only one who preferred to remain unnoticed was Alla Pugacheva. She drove in a black Rolls Royce straight to the back doors of the funeral hall.

Several hundred people gathered in the farewell hall: friends, colleagues and fans of the fashion designer. At the entrance, everyone was reminded: “Shooting is prohibited, otherwise we will kick you out.”

There were several rows of chairs near the coffin. The daughter of Valentin Yudashkin was sitting to the left of Alla Pugacheva. On the other side was the place of Elena Baturina. A little further – the widow of fashion designer Marina. Opposite are Vinokur, Tretiak, Buinov.

Vladimir Mashkov took the most prominent place. Throughout the ceremony, the actor stood in the center of the hall opposite the coffin. But Nikolai Baskov stayed away from his stellar colleagues. As if trying to get lost in the crowd.

It is strange that Philip Kirkorov missed the funeral. Although his father Bedros, at the funeral of another fashion designer, Vyacheslav Zaitsev, convinced us that his son was going to say goodbye to Yudashkin.

We said goodbye to the couturier to quiet classical music. The lights were dimmed in the hall, candles were lit, and there were many white roses all around. There were no pompous speeches. Only the organizer of the ceremony read out a short text.

After the funeral service, fans, colleagues and friends were invited to say goodbye to the coffin. Then everyone moved to the burial place.

And again there was no division into friends and foes. Ordinary people walked along with celebrities.

I noticed that the stars practically did not communicate with each other. Alla Pugacheva walked like this alone, not counting the man and woman who supported the singer by the arms. Fans of the Primadonna fled behind. Fans took selfies in front of Pugacheva, filmed a video.

Alla Borisovna was clearly not pleased with such increased attention. She tried to hide from the cameras: she pulled on a wide-brimmed hat, put on black glasses that almost completely hid her face.

She had to make her way to Yudashkin’s grave through the crowd. At some point, a crush began, where Alla Borisovna got into. But the crowd quickly carried her to the right place.

After the stars threw a handful of sand on the grave, everyone gathered on a small patch. And again, everyone on their own. Natasha Koroleva twittered with her friends. Nadezhda Babkina retired. At some point, Gazmanov and Buinov huddled together, and Dmitry Malikov shook hands with Ukupnik. To an ignorant person it might seem that all these people hardly know each other. And even more so, there can be no question of any friendship. Or maybe that’s how it is now?

I did not see any of the artists approach Pugacheva. Although, perhaps, many did it unnoticed. But, as it turned out later, to her Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov approached, kissed her hand and said that he was glad to see the singer.

Alla Borisovna was one of the first to leave the cemetery. The singer’s car drove right up to the site where the fashion designer’s grave was located. While Pugacheva walked to the car, a crowd of fans ran after her. The pensioner handed her a book: “Alla Borisovna, won’t you sign your little book?” The singer did not respond. One old woman shouted: “Have you left Russia for good?” There was no answer. “Have a conscience, what kind of people,” the driver of Pugacheva shamed the audience for importunity.

“We haven’t seen her for so long and it’s not known when we will see her now,” one of the women justified herself.

“Never,” someone in the crowd muttered.

A little later, the rest of the stars also hurried to the exit. Dmitry Peskov left, then Anita Tsoi and her husband.

The people did not let Dmitry Malikov go for a long time. People asked for a joint photo and autograph.

– Dmitry, you must remember me, we saw each other, – a man in a cassock pulled the musician’s hand. – Leave an autograph.

The artist signed. “Here’s another thousand for you,” Malikov held out a bill.

– Have you collected money from all the stars yet? – reproaches rained down on the peasant from all sides. – There are so many stars here, go to the other shooters.

Of the famous people, Olga Orlova and Elena Baturina waited for the end of the funeral.

The grave of Valentin Yudashkin was buried in flowers. Fifty wreaths were put up nearby. There were also from President Putin, Svetlana Medvedeva and Mikhail Mishustin.

The audience discussed the stars for a long time, which they managed to see at arm’s length. One man shared his impressions on the phone: “We looked at everyone, it was very interesting, we didn’t go in vain.”
