“Museum Selfie Day” is the name of the action that starts tomorrow at the Robostation at VDNKh. And it will last until January 31st.
Anyone can take part in the action. To do this, he needs, firstly, to come to the exhibition, secondly, take a selfie with his favorite robot or against the background of other exhibits he likes, and thirdly, share the pictures on his page on social networks with the hashtag #RoboSelfie and #Robostation. By the way, all the exhibits at the Robostation are interactive: visitors to the station will be able to ask a predictor robot a question, look at the world’s first robotic fish, stroke a robot dog, and even watch a scene from a movie performed by robots.
As the organizers of the action noted, everyone who posts photos with a hashtag will automatically write themselves into the history of the Robostation. A large collage with pictures of the action participants will be broadcast on the screens of the exhibition.

Museum Selfie Day is traditionally held every third week of January. Its main goal is to raise awareness among children and adults about the great works held in various collections. The first such day was held in 2014, and from that moment on, thousands of museums around the world join the action every January, and their visitors post their selfies on social networks.
