At the Games of martial arts of the Asia-Pacific region, participants from the Khabarovsk Territory distinguished themselves

As reported in the press service of the regional government, Athletes from the Khabarovsk Territory took the first team place at the Asian-Pacific Martial Arts Games. The competitions were held in Khabarovsk at the site of the Regional Martial Arts Center.

The organizers of the sporting event are the government of the Khabarovsk Territory and the Russian Union of Martial Arts. About 2200 young athletes fought for the victory. For four days they played sets of awards in 12 types of martial arts.

The competition program included competitions in aikido, all-style karate, jujitsu, kickboxing, kyokushin, kudo, karate, hand-to-hand combat, sambo, wushu, taekwondo of two versions – GTF and ITF. Participants from the Khabarovsk Territory won the team event. In second place is the team of Primorsky Krai, in third place are representatives of the Amur Region.

The Far Eastern Games are a qualifying stage for the All-Russian Youth Games of Martial Arts. In 2023, they are planned to be held from September 3 to 19, 2023 in Anapa, Krasnodar Territory.
