At parting with Boris Moiseev, the stars asked his forgiveness

We arrived at the Troekurovskoye cemetery an hour before the start of the memorial service. At the farewell hall at that time, journalists and several fans gathered.

– It’s strange that there are so few people, – one of the young people was surprised, – I thought there would be a queue. Maybe it’s still early? Pull up…

Closer to noon, a hundred people showed up. Among those gathered, mostly women 50 plus and the elderly. Most people admitted that they came for the sake of idle curiosity. The weather is good, the day off, nothing to do.

Those present were immediately warned: photography is prohibited. The organizer of the event added: “If we notice someone with cameras, we will immediately kick them out of the hall.”

– What’s the secret? Gorbachev, Shatunov were filmed, and then a ban. So there is something to hide, – grumbled one of the women who came to say goodbye from the Ryazan region. Will the coffin be open? At least look at Borya …

– And I’ve been standing here since 8.30 in the morning, I thought, to capture Moiseev for the last time, – the rosy-cheeked man expressed dissatisfaction. – I came here the day before, I saw how the grave was being dug. I didn’t get a little sick. Vodka helped, I brought it with me.

Of the stars, the first to arrive at Troekurovskoye was the ex-soloist of Na-na, Pavel Sokolov.

– We didn’t expect to see you here, – the journalists noticed.

– Nu as this not expected? Although, yes, in recent years Boris and I have not communicated. We didn’t speak for five years. So it happened, – Sokolov was embarrassed. – But I kept in touch with its director. But I did not know about the third stroke. Who helped with the funeral, also not in the know. And I haven’t heard about the conflict between Moiseev’s relatives and his director.

The Zaitsev sisters followed, who, apparently, also remembered the deceased only after his death.

“Boris is a holiday person,” the sisters spoke in unison to the camera.

The Zaitsevs hesitated. The question puzzled the women. There was an uncomfortable pause.

Not all public people agreed to communicate with journalists. Klara Novikova and Alena Apina with their daughter quickly ran past the journalists. Lolita, Nikolai Baskov, Igor Krutoy, Nelly Kobzon, Alexander Buinov gathered in the hall … Nadezhda Babkina was sitting next to director Moiseev Sergey Gorokh. In the forefront, near the coffin, were the Zaitsev sisters. The artist’s relatives were not seen.

And then the Trumpeter sang a hit, which he once performed in a duet with Moiseev “Blue Moon”. But he quickly broke off. He concluded his speech with the words: “Forgive me, Borya, and farewell to us.”

The Zaitsev sisters also showed up near the coffin. They spoke common words for a long time, smiled, and at the end they sang their song.

Klara Novikova recalled Moiseev: “In recent days, I have watched a lot of interviews with Boris, his concerts. He was bored with living within certain limits. I hope my warmth and attitude helped him in some way.

At that moment, a new guest entered the hall, who immediately drew attention to himself. Fans who listened to Novikova’s speech made a noise: “Look, Kirkorov, it’s a pity you can’t photograph him.”

Kirkorov approached Nikolai Baskov, who did not take off his black glasses and kept aloof from his colleagues in the shop. The artists talked about something, then Philip went to the microphone. “Borya played an important role in my life. My debut on television began with meeting him. And our friendship lasted 40 years, – said Kirkorov. – It’s a pity we didn’t see each other much. It is a sin that during the illness, I did not pay attention to him. He was lonely. Thank you my dear older friend. Once again, sorry, Borya, for inattention. I cannot forgive myself that during the years of your illness I have never visited you.”

Then the musician, clip maker Alisher, took the floor, who told how he recorded a joint song with Moiseev when he was already sick: “By that time, Boris was already moving poorly, almost did not speak. I arrived at his house, he was sitting in a dressing gown in front of a computer monitor, clicking on the buttons. Then they brought a cake, he ate it and continued to click on the buttons like a child. Borya seemed to be in another universe. I felt like a speech therapist when I asked him to say the words to the song. We recorded a set of letters and phrases that he was able to say. Mounted. And it turned out that a young healthy artist sings the song.

The farewell ceremony is over. The host of the event asked those who want to watch the funeral to stay. Half of those present went outside.

Baskov immediately went to the car. Lolita left. Kirkorov lingered for some time at the exit, then also left the event.

At this time, socialite Alena Kravets, in a floor-length velvet dress, with a pink handbag, approached the funeral hall. The woman stood next to the fans on the street, who were waiting for the removal of the coffin.

Of the stars, Nadezhda Babkina, Igor Nadzhiev, parodist Alexander Peskov were present until the end of the funeral. The latter crossed himself near the grave and bowed.

After the funeral was over, Babkin and Director Moiseeva quickly got into the car and drove away. Sergei Gorokh refused to answer questions about the scandal with the Moiseev family, only dropped: “Love each other.”

Alexander Peskov lingered and spoke with reporters: “Borya did not suffer for long, and thank God. Everyone has their own destiny. They say that Moiseev was lonely. What does lonely mean? Maybe because the scene is gone from his life. As for the rest, he had friends…”

Boris Moiseev was buried on the alley of stars next to the actor Sergei Sosnovsky.

Eleven mourning wreaths were brought to the grave. Only four of them are from the stars: Valery Leontiev, Vladimir Vinokur, Philip Kirkorov, the Kobzon family.

Yes, and there could be more flowers for an artist of this level.
