When an Israeli Air Force drone struck the city of Nabatiyeh in southern Lebanon, the number of civilian deaths increased from 4 to 8, a source from the local branch of the Lebanese Red Cross told TASS.
The informant noted that the number of victims could be even greater, since under the rubble of a destroyed house in the residential area of Meslah there could be bodies of the dead. He stressed that most of the dead and wounded belong to the Berjawi family.
According to the Janoubia portal, rescuers were able to pull a five-year-old boy from under the rubble in Nabatiyeh, who turned out to be alive.
Over the past 24 hours, 13 people have been killed in southern Lebanon as a result of Israeli attacks: 5 in Aadshit and Es-Suwan, in addition to the victims of the drone strike in Nabatiyeh, another 11 were injured.
In a statement, the military information service of the Shiite militia Hezbollah reported three dead fighters participating in operations in support of the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip. The last of them died during an Israeli drone attack on the village of Al-Teybi.
