At 70, Tatyana Vedeneeva remembered why she was ashamed

It’s hard to believe, but the spectacular actress and TV presenter Tatyana Vedeneeva is 70 today. The Honored Artist of the Russian Federation celebrates her anniversary with her family in her house on the French Riviera, where she has long felt at home – many compatriots live around.

Tatyana made her film debut as a student in 1973 in the film Much Ado About Nothing. But the most striking work in the cinema was the role of the pupil of Donna Rosa Ella Deley in Viktor Titov’s comedy “Hello, I’m your aunt” in 1975. She also starred in the films: “Hello, Doctor!”, “We didn’t go through this”, “Siberia”, “First after God”, “Three Stars”, “Milky Way”, “Detective in a Million”.

In the Soviet years, Vedeneeva hosted the popular children’s programs “Good night, kids!”, “Alarm clock” and “Visiting a fairy tale.” Letters came to her programs in bags. “Sometimes I received up to 150 letters a day. The children wrote: “Aunt Tanya, we love you so much. I received a lot of letters with confessions from men, ”recalls Vedeneeva.

In addition to children, she hosted the programs “Morning”, “Song of the Year” and “Blue Light”. Tatyana was very fond of General Secretary Leonid Brezhnev, once Vedeneeva even led a concert that was dedicated to the birthday of Leonid Ilyich.

Vedeneeva was the first to risk changing the standard frame. Usually the announcers were filmed to the waist, but once the artist asked the cameraman to drive off and show her sitting on a chair. “I was wearing a very tight skirt, a gift from Pierre Cardin, and I could see a piece of my knee. I can’t describe what happened the next day, but after that all the announcers wanted to move the camera back and show their knees. So I still broke a certain stereotype, ”recalls the TV personality.

In 2005, she appeared in a cameo role in the film project First After God. In 2012, Vedeneeva played Queen Elinor in the film Brave. Since 2009, Tatyana Veniaminovna began performing on the stage of the Moscow Theater “School of the Modern Play”. The actress took part in several productions, among which critics note the performances “Russian Jam”, “Waltz of the Lonely” and “The Last Aztec”.

From the fall of 2013 to 2014, she worked on the federal channel of the host of the program “In Our Time”. Her partners were Angelina Vovk and Yuri Nikolaev.

Once Tatyana was treated to tkemali sauce, which was made by hand. As a result, she liked it so much that she decided to make sauces herself. That is how the business idea for the production of sauces appeared.

Tatyana Vedeneeva was married twice. The first husband is an artist-restorer Valery Shaposhnikov, the second is an entrepreneur Yuri Begalov. The son from his first marriage, Dmitry, is a mobile application developer.

Today, she sometimes takes part only in TV shows. On the eve of 2023, Tatyana Vedeneeva starred in the New Year’s Blue Light program, which was filmed by participants in the special operation.
