The phrase “Mercury retrograde” has already become a catchphrase for delays, malfunctions, and generally bad luck. From the point of view of astrology, Mercury is “biting” – slowing down the solution of issues and in general everything positive – when it begins to move in its orbit in the opposite direction, which happens 3-4 times a year. The year 2023 gave us as many as four periods of Mercury retrograde, one of which (from January 1 to January 18) earthlings have already experienced.

And on April 21, humanity entered a new period of “clouding” of the heavenly mind in connection with the reversal of its heavenly patron, where it will stay until May 15. And then there is the corridor of eclipses, which astrology also considers a negative period.

– It is not very pleasant that all these heavenly difficulties fall on our earthly May holidays, when you want not to be afraid, but to relax …

– Alas, this time the story is special, – Olga Grankina is sure. – Until May 15, Mercury will go back in the sign of Taurus, in which it is now located together with the Sun. And on the eve of the reversal, on April 20, there was a solar eclipse that opened the first corridor of eclipses this year (usually there are two of them in a year, in spring and autumn).

The first corridor will be crowned with a Lunar Eclipse on May 5th. Thus, earthlings should be especially careful for another three days after the lunar eclipse – that is, until May 9, inclusive.

This is important, since the retrograde of Mercury, coupled with the corridor of eclipses, can really confuse the inhabitants of the Earth with all the cards. And not even force majeure from the outside, like natural disasters or serious catastrophes, but simply bringing chaos to people’s heads with their influence.

What exactly is chaos?

– The reversing planet-patron of the mind slows down all positive processes, “throws up” obstacles, delays, delays the adoption of the necessary decisions and obtaining permits. And the Lunar Eclipse on May 5 will occur in the sign of Aries – fiery, militant, assertive, not loving half measures. So the period until May 9 inclusive, alas, is not suitable for the long-awaited relaxation.

You may be required to react quickly and take decisive action at any time. But even the most collected and resolute from above will “put spokes in the wheels” moving in the opposite direction Mercury. Purchased “on a whim” equipment during the period of retrograde Mercury, coupled with a “corridor” eclipse, can bring trouble.

But if the appliances are household and theoretically safe – for example, a vacuum cleaner or a washing machine – and you planned to purchase it even before the onset of Mercury retrograde, you simply postponed it, then there will be no trouble from it, since you simply returned to your plan earlier.

It is better to go during this period to where you have already been – to visit your parents, to your own dacha, etc. If you are planning to go somewhere for the first time, then carefully check tickets, time and date of departure, hotel reservations, insurance – all this can fail at the last moment.

It is better not to drive a car, in any case, I recommend that you first carefully check the car for serviceability. It is better to travel within the Northern Hemisphere or within Russia: in these parts of the Earth, the eclipse will not be visible, which means that its influence in these territories is weakened. But the Southern Hemisphere falls into the risk zone and Russians definitely should not fly there in these numbers.
