Astrakhan rowers won a set of medals at the Russian Cup. From 19 to 24 May in Krasnodar on Lake Staraya Kuban the Cup of Russia in kayaking and canoeing was held. The team of the Astrakhan region won various medals at the competitions.
Rowers from different regions of Russia participated in races at distances of 200 meters, 500 meters, 1000 and 5000 meters. The races were held in singles, twos and fours.
Astrakhan Arina Khozhainova won gold and silver at different distances. Dmitry Mamtsev took first and third places. Silver medals were won by Victoria Adelshinova and Zoya Manaeva.
