Astrakhan handball players beat a team from Krasnodar at home

In the next match of the Russian Women’s Handball Super League championship, Astrakhanochka hosted Krasnodar Kuban. Athletes from the capital of the Caspian region won with a score of 26:24.
Krasnodar handball players were in the lead for most of the first half. But after Polina Sharkova, a student of the Volgograd handball school, put Astrakhanochka ahead for the first time in the 23rd minute, Alexey Alekseev’s charges took the initiative into their own hands. By the break, the home team led with a score of 15:13.
As a result, the Astrakhan girls won – 26:24. The most productive member of the Astrakhan team was Polina Sharkova, who scored 7 goals. Anna Kaynarova converted all 5 of her shots.
On December 14, Astrakhanochka will play in Volgograd against Dynamo-Sinara.
