ASK volleyball players will fight for victory against Kuzbass

Volleyball players from Nizhny Novgorod ASK continue to compete in the regular championship of the PARI-Super League for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Nizhny Novgorod has been playing in the elite division of Russian volleyball for a long time, but the current season has not gone according to plan from the very beginning. Andrei Dranishnikov’s team began losing to their opponents from the first match of the championship and won only 3 victories in the entire first round, being stronger in meetings against Shakhtar, Neftyanik and Gazprom-Yugra. At the moment, the red-blacks are in 15th place, ahead only of their rivals from Nizhnevartovsk.
In the upcoming away match, ASK volleyball players will have to play with opponents from the first half of the standings. The Nizhny Novgorod team will face Kuzbass from Kemerovo. At the moment, the hosts of the upcoming match occupy 6th place in the PARI-Super League standings, having scored 28 points based on the results of 15 matches played. In the first round meeting, the Kuzbass volleyball players won a landslide victory with a score of 3:0, and then knocked ASK out of the Russian Cup.
Let us remind you that the regular championship match of the PARI-Super League between Kuzbass and ASC will take place on January 13. The meeting is scheduled to start at 13:00 Moscow time.
