ASK volleyball players lost in the 2nd round of the Super League

On October 21, ASK volleyball players representing Nizhny Novgorod in the PARI-Super League played the 2nd round match of the 2023-2024 season. The red-blacks hosted rivals representing “Yenisei” from Krasnoyarsk at their home arena. ASK and Enisey did not start the 2023-2024 season in the best way, losing in the matches of the 1st round. The team from Nizhny Novgorod lost to Kuzbass, and Enisey turned out to be weaker than Dynamo-LO.
The confrontation between ASK and Yenisei turned out to be stubborn and exciting. The hosts started the match well, winning the first game, but there weren’t enough ASK players to do more. “Enisey” took the initiative and played with a slight advantage, which allowed them to win in games 2 and 3. The Yenisei players also had the decisive period of the match, where the Nizhny Novgorod team lost by only 2 points. Thus, the ASC volleyball players suffered a second defeat in a row in the 2023-2024 season.
The next match of the PARI-Super League regular championship will be played by ASK volleyball players on October 28. Nizhny Novgorod will play in an away match against Ural.
