Volleyball players from Nizhny Novgorod ASK continue to compete in the Super League for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Nizhny Novgorod shows weak results during the 2023-2024 season, settling in the second half of the standings. Based on the results of 30 regular season matches played, ASK volleyball players are in 15th position in the Super League standings, gaining only 16 points. According to the results of the first stage, the red-blacks took a place in the relegation zone and now they will have to fight for survival in the elite division of Russian volleyball. Representatives of Ufa, Orenburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Nizhnevartovsk became participants in the struggle for survival. Four teams will play two matches against each other and determine the final places. The two best teams will automatically retain their place in the elite, and the penultimate team will play the play-offs. The main loser will leave the Super League, being demoted in class.
Nizhny Novgorod volleyball players will have to start the round for survival with a match against Neftyanik from Orenburg. It will take place on April 12, and its start is scheduled for 16:00 Moscow time.
