The volleyball players of Nizhny Novgorod ASK did not perform well in the first part of the regular championship of the PARI-Super League of the 2023-2024 season. The team from Nizhny Novgorod performs poorly at the level of the elite division of Russian volleyball and very rarely pleases its fans with successful matches. The red-blacks played 13 official matches during the current regular season and scored only 6 points, winning games against Neftyanik and Gazprom-Yugra from Surgut.
ASC volleyball players ended 2023 with a series of 8 defeats in a row. The team from Nizhny Novgorod won their last victory on November 15, when they beat Neftyanik from Orenburg at their home arena. In the final match of 2023, ASK volleyball players lost to Dynamo-LO from the Leningrad region at their home arena. At the moment, ASC is at the bottom of the PARI-Super League standings, at risk of being relegated.
ASC volleyball players will play their first match in 2024 in front of their fans. Andrei Dranishnikov’s team will host VK Fakel from Novy Urengoy at their home arena. In the standings, “Fakel” is in 11th place, gaining 15 points in 13 matches played. The start of the PARI-Super League regular championship meeting between ASC and Fakel is scheduled for 17:00.
