During the New Year holidays, Artur Akavov, director of the Olimp sports school and chairman of the Pskov Region Boxing Federation, plans to actively relax, snowboard in the Malskaya Valley and train. He said this in a conversation with a PLN FM correspondent.
He said that the year was difficult for the Olympus sports school, but for the organization it was better than the previous one.
“A lot of work has been done, and its fruits are noticeable in the sports school. We are trying to increase the pace of development. Every year we have less and less funding, which is allocated, and expenses are rising, prices for everything are rising. But we are an autonomous institution and can earn money ourselves by providing paid services. Therefore, one of our missions is to receive as much income as possible from paid services, without causing harm to the fulfillment of the state task of providing additional education to children,” added Artur Akavov.
He emphasized that people tend to dream and hope for a miracle and wished Pskov residents to realize their desires and hopes.
