Russian blogger and designer Artemy Lebedev criticized European legislation in the field of protecting children’s rights on his Rutube channel.
According to him, European legislation in the field of protecting children’s rights is seriously different from the same laws in force in the territory of the post-Soviet space. Thus, he commented on the BBC material, which cited complaints from Ukrainians living in Europe about the removal of their children by the guardianship service.
“In the CIS countries and Russia, it is believed that the most important thing is a child in the family. At the same time, in European countries, human well-being is of paramount importance. It is because of this that the state in some situations is ready to remove children from families,” Lebedev noted.
