Deputy General Director of Zenit, former football player of the Russian national team Andrei Arshavin during a conversation with the authors of the channel “This is football, brother!” commented on the transfer of midfielder Daler Kuzyaev from the St. Petersburg club to Le Havre (France).
According to Arshavin, the blue-white-blue team is “much cooler” than Le Havre. The former athlete does not understand what Kuzyaev wants and can achieve by playing for the French club. Arshavin also doubted that at Le Havre the midfielder would be able to attract the attention of representatives of European top clubs.
“You don’t need to leave “just to go to Europe.” I don’t see any point in going to an average club. No money, no fame”said the Deputy General Director of Zenit.
Earlier football experts explainedwhy Kuzyaev decided to go play in League 1.
