The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation reported that Yerevan refused to participate in a trilateral meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, at which it was planned to discuss the preparation of a peace treaty. The meeting was expected tomorrow, December 23. The press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Vahan Unanyan told Interfax that Armenia did not refuse the meeting, but asked to postpone it due to the humanitarian crisis that arose in Nagorno-Karabakh due to the blocking of the Lachin corridor.

During a telephone conversation, the parties discussed the work of Russian peacekeepers, the blocking of the Lachin corridor and the disagreements of the parties on the development of ore deposits in the region.
