Acting Governor of the Zaporozhye region Yevhen Balitsky called the situation on the front line in the region “tense”. According to him, in five districts “the enemy is bringing down crowds.” He also said that the Ukrainian army had reached the first defensive line of the Russian troops.

“At the cost of colossal losses, yesterday they were able to reach the first defensive line of engineering barriers, but they go basically even without the support of artillery … The situation is certainly tense,” Mr. Balitsky wrote in Telegram.
