Ukrainian troops are pulling a large number of tanks and armored vehicles to the Kherson direction. This was announced on Sunday by the Deputy Governor of the Kherson region Kirill Stremousov on his Telegram channel.
According to him, “significant forces” are concentrated “on the approaches to the Kherson region”: the Armed Forces of Ukraine are pulling up tanks, armored vehicles and other military equipment.
In Kherson, as Kirill Stremousov recalled, the evacuation of residents to the left bank of the Dnieper and to other regions of Russia continues. For the time being, residents of the city have the opportunity to “freely leave the right-bank part of the Kherson region,” he said.
On October 18, the acting governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, announced the upcoming relocation of residents of the right-bank part of the region to the left bank due to the threat of flooding in the event of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station.
On October 31, it was announced the expansion of the evacuation zone in the left-bank part of the region by 15 km from the Dnieper. It included the Novokahovsky urban district, as well as the municipal districts of Golopristansky, Kakhovsky, Aleshkinsky, Velikolepetikhsky, Gornostaevsky, and Verkhnerogachiksky.
