Armed Forces of Ukraine named the names of all the dead aces in the collision of aircraft

The speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, revealed the names of all military pilots who died during a plane crash in the Zhytomyr region, where two L-39 combat training aircraft collided.

Previously, only the death of a very famous and popular pilot in Ukraine, Andrey Pilshchikov, known as “Dzhus”, was reported. This pilot had 8 years of experience, and since the start of the special military operation he has already flown more than 500 hours. He was sent to the most difficult tasks. “Juice” was supposed to play a special role after the provision of F-16 fighters to Ukraine.

Now it turned out that the other two dead pilots were especially valuable. Their death is quite critical for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is Major Vyacheslav Minka, who returned to aviation in 2015. He owned several types of aircraft and was also an instructor.

And Major Sergei Prokazin with 24 years of experience, who rose to the rank of deputy brigade commander.

All the dead served in the 40th Tactical Aviation Brigade of the Center Air Command. The pilots also performed tasks in the Eastern and Zaporozhye directions.

The collision of two aircraft occurred on the evening of August 25 in the Zhytomyr region. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky promised that all the circumstances would be clarified. Yuri Ignat, in turn, said that the investigation into the causes of the crash could take up to six months.
