The city of Shebekino in the Belgorod region again came under fire from Ukraine, the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.
“Again under fire from Shebekino. There were no casualties. Part of the cannon artillery shells fell next to eight private residential households, the blast wave cut the facades and smashed out the windows, and the windows in the outbuilding were also smashed out, ”Gladkov wrote.
According to him, there are also damages in two cars, some of the shells lay in the forest belt. The head of the district Vladimir Zhdanov, operational and emergency services continue to survey the territory, the governor added.
Now in the Belgorod region there is a “yellow” level of terrorist danger. In addition, since October 19, 2022, the region has also introduced a “medium response” mode. In addition to the Belgorod region, such a regime has been established in seven other regions – Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, Sevastopol, Kursk, Voronezh, Bryansk and Rostov regions.
This winter, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the border regions of Russia should not be subjected to shelling by the armed forces of Ukraine. The head of state noted that such a task is facing the Ministry of Defense of the country.
