If in the first half it was possible to watch the benefit performance of the leader of Vodnik Yevgeny Dergaev, who had completed poker in this period of time, then after the break the other players of the Arkhangelsk club supported their captain. As a result, the yellow-greens defeated the Kirov team with a “dry” score – 11:0. At the same time, balls were scored into the opponents’ goal for every taste, both from “standards” and as a result of beautiful combinations. At Vodnik, Evgeny Dergaev became the author of six goals, and Pavel Pozhilov, Arseniy Kozlov, Maxim Antsiferov, Mikhail Shirshov and Danil Kuzmin scored once each.
– For us it was the first official match in the new season. Therefore, it was noticeable that the guys were very nervous. At this moment, our captain Evgeny Dergaev showed his best leadership qualities and scored very important and necessary goals. This not only calmed his teammates, but also liberated them. We began to get good combinations, many of which ended with a goal scored by the opponent. I would also like to note our confident game in defense, thanks to which the Kirov team managed to create almost nothing at our gates, – said the head coach of Vodnik Ivan Maksimov.
Vodnik will play the next match on August 14, when it will meet with Murman. Beginning at 14:00 Moscow time.
