Arkhangelsk surfers showed decent results at the Russian Championship. The championship and championship of Russia in sailing in the “winter windsurfing” class these days takes place in Novosibirsk.
Our athletes have a high degree of training, which is not surprising: a long winter with stable snow cover, as well as the icy expanse of the Northern Dvina, create excellent conditions for training.
Already at the beginning of the competition, athletes from the Arkhangelsk region demonstrated their skills and won eight medals. It should be noted that almost 40 athletes from 11 regions of the Russian Federation participate in the national championship. Yachtsmen of Pomorye were able to top the leaderboard not only in their age groups, but also among older and more experienced athletes.
