Arkhangelsk schools will have three new sports grounds. The progress of work was inspected by Deputy Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region Sergey Pivkov.
– The objects are in different stages of readiness, – said Sergey Pivkov. – Despite the fact that each contractor works according to a pre-agreed project, in practice there is always something to improve and make the facility more convenient and safe. I am glad that representatives of contracting organizations are meeting halfway in this regard.
The playground for football, basketball and volleyball near school No. 22 is almost ready. By the way, the school building was overhauled this year, and now the work on the improvement of the territory is also being completed.
A concrete foundation has been poured at school No. 4, and a field for playing football, basketball and volleyball will also appear here. In addition, a workout area will be additionally equipped.
According to Sergei Pivkov, the project at school No. 1 is a difficult project – due to the need for archaeological research, the cost of the project has risen. The presence of the cultural layer also imposed restrictions on the deepening of elements into the ground. Because of this, the project does not provide lighting. As an option, the possibility of installing additional lights on existing lighting poles is being considered.
According to the vice-governor, all work should be completed by the end of autumn.
