The Russian kayaking and canoeing championship among juniors under 24 years old has ended in Krasnodar. The final national competitions of the season brought together more than 200 participants from different regions of Russia.
Kayaker of the Olympic Reserve Sports School “Pomorye”, a student of coach Vladimir Sokolov, Semyon Sitnikov, became the leader in the single kayak race at a distance of 5000 meters. Semyon’s result is 19 minutes 21.904 seconds. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Sports.
Silver medalists of the All-Russian competitions were also rowers from the Pomorye Sports School, students of coaches Andrei Tyapkov and Alexey Tyapkov – Ilya Belshev and Arina Dekhtyarenko. The guys won silver in the single kayak race at a distance of 200 meters.
