Arkhangelsk paraathletes successfully performed at the All-Russian badminton competitions

All-Russian competitions in badminton among participants with a lesion of the musculoskeletal system were held in Kazan. More than 70 athletes from 16 regions of the country competed for medals. This is reported by the regional Ministry of Sports.
The Arkhangelsk region was represented by pupils of the regional sports-adaptive school of the Paralympic and Deaflympics reserve Irina Borisova, Mikhail Chiviksin and Ksenia Erofeevskaya.
Irina Borisova became the second in the singles category, and together with Alexander Mekhdiev (Kostroma region) won gold in the mixed category.
Mikhail Chiviksin won gold in the singles category and together with Ramil Yuldashev (Samara region) took silver in the doubles category.
Ksenia Erofeevskaya won bronze in the singles category. In addition, she and Mikhail Chiviksin finished fifth in the mixed category.
