“After defeating in the World Cup final, the French do not stop crying, complaining and do not recognize that Argentina is the world champion,” the document says.
The petition notes that it was created so that the French would stop whining and accept the fact that Lionel Messi is the best player in the history of football, and Kylian Mbappe is “like a son to him.”
As of Saturday evening, more than 416,000 people have signed the petition.
Earlier, French fans created a petition demanding to replay the decisive match of the World Cup. It states that at the championship “the refereeing was absolutely corrupt, there was no penalty, there was a foul on Mbappe on the second goal” of the Argentine team. This document was signed by more than 220 thousand people.
After the first half of the World Cup final in Qatar, the French team lost to the team of Argentina with a score of 0:2. At the 80th and 81st minutes, Mbappe scored a double. In extra time, the Argentines again took the lead, but Mbappe turned the game into a penalty shoot-out, in which the Argentine team was stronger.
