“For what?” – this is the first question that arises for everyone who has learned about the searches in the house of Ksenia Sobchak. Such a reputation is a real problem for our law enforcement agencies. It is hardly consoling that this trouble is not only for our domestic authorities. After all, few people believe that the initiation of a criminal case against former US President Trump for allegedly taking secret documents from the White House is dictated only by concern for the preservation of state secrets, and not by any political considerations.
So while the times of unconditional faith in the purity of the thoughts of law enforcement officers around the world, and Russian ones in particular, have not come, let’s really try to figure out why.
This is the second incident in recent months where Sobchak is balancing on the verge of criminal prosecution. About two months ago – because of an interview with documentary filmmaker Vitaly Mansky on the channel “Caution. Sobchak”, where he accused Nikita Mikhalkov of embezzling the budget of the Moscow Film Festival. Of course, such accusations require serious evidence, which Mansky did not have. But the assumption that this question, like the answer, was discussed in advance with the presenter, also does not hold water. So Mansky is wanted, Sobchak is a witness – a natural result.
And now the case against her commercial director for extortion. Does this case have “customers”?
Of course, Sobchak in his media often runs into prominent state propagandists when they are completely losing their temper. But they do come out. So in one of the posted videos, Vladimir Rudolfovich Solovyov, scolding his enemies, managed to use the word satanists (3 times), demons (2 times), scum, geeks, cattle, offspring, scum (one time) in 100 seconds. Moreover, he did not chatter at all, but spoke with such pauses that even at the Moscow Art Theater he would be asked to read the text faster. How do you like this kind of controversy? Does he convince anyone?
Yes, Sobchak criticizes the authorities of the annexed territories. In particular, the deputy head of the Kherson region, Stremousov, for the quote from Goebbels about the Banderists he posted on social networks. But after all, this quote is indeed a repeatedly exposed fake. And such a publication is designed for a very undemanding consumer. For any more or less advanced Internet user, it will only cause rejection and distrust of other messages from the administration. So you need to be more careful, more careful.
As for the NWO itself in Ukraine, here Sobchak never crossed any “red lines”. She was one of the first to publish the facts of excesses in partial mobilization. But literally a day later it became a state trend. The deputies joined the work, the President announced this.
In many posts, Sobchak’s personal involvement is also visible. Suppose no one pulled her tongue to comment on the dispute between Elon Musk and chess player Garry Kasparov, who was declared a foreign agent, about a plan to resolve the Ukrainian crisis. The same argument in which Musk called Kasparov, who “plays chess almost as good as my iPhone”, an idiot. Sobchak Mask supported: “I told Kasparov personally for a long time: to be a world chess champion does not mean to be a world champion in general.”
Just as no one forced her to comment on the bravura report of the state news agency that no one removed the books of writers Glukhovsky and Bykov recognized by foreign agents from store shelves. “What about fines for not marking foreign agents? Or is everything possible?
Of course, Mikhalkov, Solovyov (TV presenter) and other “turbopatriots” have enough “long arms” to raise the media wave. And even initiate some investigative actions. For example, a request from the police to initiate a criminal case for fakes about the authorities, as in the Mansky case, or even a search in the house, as it is now. But, most likely, not long enough to transfer her from the category of a witness to the accused. And even more so to bring under the verdict. Of course, if this case has no reason.
It’s just that big people who oversee the media space understand that Sobchak’s resource is not so much more valuable than Solovyov’s, but it works for a completely different audience. Its readers and listeners will never watch Full Contact with Vladimir Solovyov. These are people with a VPN installed on their mobile phones. And the political position that Sobchak broadcasts (I could define it with a quote now popular on the Web: “I consider war an unconditional evil, but I consider a lost war many times worse evil”) suits them quite well. After all, complete unanimity in details and shades cannot be achieved even in Orwell’s dystopias. And someone should feed the so-called “enlightened patriots.”
