Arab League Secretary General condemns forced displacement of Gaza residents

The forced displacement of residents of the Gaza Strip is a violation of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, said the Secretary General of the League of Arab States (LAS) Ahmed Abu al-Gheit.
“This new crime is a flagrant and flagrant violation of Art. 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits the occupying power from directly transferring populations,” wrote Secretary General of the social network X (formerly Twitter). He noted that this would lead to “limitless suffering for our brothers.”
He said Israel’s actions were a “heinous act of revenge” using military force “to punish civilians and a helpless population.”
