Applications for participation in the Kama project “Coach of our yard” are accepted until May 16

In the Perm Territory, the acceptance of applications for participation in the regional project “Coach of our yard” has begun. The competition commission will select 117 sports instructors from 40 municipalities. You can send an application for participation in the selection to website until May 16, according to the Ministry of Sports of the Kama region.

Residents of the Kamsk region who have an education in the field of physical culture and sports (including after professional retraining) can take part in the project; students of at least the third year of professional educational organizations and institutions of higher education studying in the specialties “Physical culture and sports”, “Adaptive physical culture”; active athletes.

Each coach and instructor who has passed the selection will conduct classes at least twice a week in public facilities. Specialists will receive equipment and inventory for their sport worth up to 30 thousand rubles, which will remain with them in the future, and training for residents will be free.

The winners of the competition will be determined by May 22, and classes with coaches and instructors will be held from June 15 to September 15, 2023. Last year, under the guidance of specialists, about 2.5 thousand residents of Kamsk went in for sports, almost 1.8 thousand attended training sessions on a regular basis. The greatest interest among the residents of the Perm Territory was caused by classes in general physical training, football took the second place in popularity, and volleyball took the third place. Also, within the framework of the “Coach of our yard” project, classes were held in basketball (streetball), athletics, badminton, fitness aerobics, Nordic walking and floorball.
