Apple within presentations Wonderlust introduced a new generation of the flagship iPhone smartphone – the iPhone 15 Pro model received a new titanium case design and major technical updates.

The smartphone is available in iPhone 15 Pro with a 6.1-inch screen and iPhone 15 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch screen. It is stated that the display has been improved for better image quality and received new Always On Display modes. A special feature of the new devices was the transition to the use of a titanium frame – the smartphones became the lightest in the history of the iPhone Pro and received the thinnest screen frames. In the new generation, the device has lost its proprietary physical silent mode switch, which has been replaced by a multifunction key – a long press puts the smartphone into silent mode, and a short press allows you to launch the camera, voice recorder, or activate quick commands.

The smartphone received a new A17 Pro chip, which is positioned as the fastest mobile processor on the market. Improved performance in games is announced (including support for gamepads from consoles) and new capabilities for taking photos and videos. The iPhone 15 Pro line received redesigned cameras, including a 48 MP main lens, a 12 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom (5x for Pro Max), and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens with macro mode. The stated ability to shoot with focal lengths of 24, 28, 35 mm, improved portrait mode and optimized night mode, as well as the best image stabilization among all smartphones.

Apple abandoned the proprietary Lightning connector and installed a USB-C port in the iPhone 15 Pro in the USB 3.0 specification with a bandwidth of up to 10 Gbps. The smartphone received support for transferring captured photos to a computer in real time and the ability to record video to external media. For the first time in smartphone history, videos now support the Academy Color Encoding System (ACES) color space for post-processing. In addition, the new devices can shoot spatial video for Apple’s Vision Pro headset.

The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will hit the market at prices starting from $999 and $1.9 thousand, respectively. Smartphones will be available in four body colors. Along with the release of new devices, extended tariffs for iCloud proprietary cloud storage will be offered, offering 6 and 12 TB of space.
