According to the department, the Big Four telecom operators have already joined the Antifraud system. Until March 2024, all telecom operators in Russia will connect to it.
According to the Ministry of Digital Development, fraudulent calls were transferred to WhatsApp. Roskomnadzor reminds that banks and government organizations do not use instant messengers to call citizens.
The creation of a phone call verification platform was provided for in the Law “On Communications” (No. 319-FZ), which provides for the fight against telephone fraud. The operator connects to the system for free, but a fine of 600,000 rubles is provided for non-connection. up to 1 million rubles
