Anpilogov explained the significance of the capture of Mayorsk by the allied forces

Military expert, President of the Foundation “Osnovanie” Aleksey Anpilogov commented on the previously transmitted message from the Headquarters of the Territorial Defense of the DPR that the allied forces managed to take control of the village of Mayorsk on the northern outskirts of Gorlovka, where one of the checkpoints is located, through which it carries out entry and exit to the territory, held by Ukrainian troops.
“In general, this is another stronghold for which the Armed Forces of Ukraine clung,” Anpilogov noted in interview portal “Ukraine.ru”.
According to him, the main result of these successful actions of the allied forces is the fettering of the movement of Ukrainian units.
In addition, Anpilogov drew attention to the fact that the Dzerzhinsk-Artemovsk road was also taken in this way, which greatly complicated the transfer of forces to the Ukrainian side.
At the same time, he noted that the Ukrainian defense line Seversk-Soledar-Bakhmut is still holding out, so the allied forces are faced with the task of breaking it.
