Representative of Chuvashia Yaroslav Slautin became the winner of the “Minin and Pozharsky Cup”, the Nizhny Novgorod stage of the children’s Russian Chess Cup.
He turned out to be the strongest in the boys’ competition in the age category up to 9 years.
Previously, in the same age category, a victory at the stage in Kazan won Arkhip Morozov from Chuvashia.
In August, Cheboksary will host its stage of the competition for the second time in a row, as last year it will be called the “Chocolate Cup”. The Russian Cup final will be held here in December.
