The opening of a new sports ground took place in the village of Rozental, Gorodovikovskiy district, Kalmykia.
In a short time, a modern, multifunctional sports ground for health promotion appeared on the site of the wasteland. Its construction became possible thanks to the activity of the villagers themselves, who applied for the program to support local initiatives on the condition of co-financing.
The total cost of the sports ground amounted to almost one and a half million rubles. The lion’s share of funds was allocated from the republican budget (77%). The contribution of the municipal budget, as well as voluntary assistance from farmers and villagers, amounted to almost 336,500 rubles.
In honor of the opening of the sports ground for children, a sports and game festival for children was held.
