Another masterpiece of painting was doused with paint by environmental activists

In the Barberini Museum in Potsdam (Germany), activists from the Letzte Generation movement poured paint on the painting of the famous impressionist painter Claude Monet “Haystacks”.
But even this was not enough for the actionists and they glued their palms to the wall near the work of art.
Such actions, held under the slogan “What is more expensive – art or life?” traffic suits regularly. Thus, activists draw people’s attention to climate problems.
Last week, eco-activists visited the London National Gallery and poured paint over Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers. Thus, they protested against the plans of the British authorities to issue new licenses for the development of oil fields. It was reported that the painting itself was not damaged because it was under glass.
