Veliky Novgorod will host the 75th traditional athletics relay race, which is dedicated to the Victory Day. The center of the sports festival will be Victory Square – Sofiyskaya. This was reported by the press service of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports in the region.
Thus, the sporting event will take place on May 6 and will consist of seven routes. Every Novgorodian can take part in the race, you only need to register before April 28.
Thus, residents of the capital of the Novgorod region will organize a route for people with disabilities, the length of which will be 250 meters, the route “Be in sports” and “Active longevity” 800 meters and an individual route for 4,800 meters. In addition, relay races will be organized – a family route – 1,600 meters, a mixed route for 3,700 meters, as well as a men’s and women’s route for 4,000 and 4,800 meters, respectively.
