Akif Çağatay Kılıç, Chief Adviser to the President of Turkey, told CNN Türk that work is currently underway on the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Turkey.
He added that negotiations on the schedule are ongoing due to the situation in which Russia is now.
Kılıç responded negatively to the question of whether there was a cooling in relations between Ankara and Moscow and confirmed that cooperation continues at the level of the countries’ foreign ministries and intelligence agencies.
“At the foreign policy level, we continue negotiations on a grain deal,” he said, adding that there are no problems between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Vladimir Putin.
