Now the time has come for completely different magical elders – hippie, krinzhovye and able to talk with buzzers in the same language. Now the owner of the staff will dance and sing for you, and the gift will make you look not in the bag, but through the Quarcode. What is happening now in the animation industry and why it is so “shaken”, we learned firsthand.

“Before, Moroz’s wardrobe could have had a blue coat and a red coat,” says Trofim Nikitenko, an animator from Schelkovo. Now he is free to dress up as he pleases. In my arsenal there is a formal suit, theatrical (a la Jack Sparrow), sports and camouflage uniforms.

The Kuzin family from Dmitrov knows firsthand what a modern magician might look like. A year ago, their child did not know who he wants to see more: Santa Claus or Spider-Man. Sharing her thoughts with the animation agency, Vika Kuzina’s mother received an unusual piece of advice: “Call Frost the Spider.”

– I asked: what, is this possible? And they answered me: any whim for your money, – the woman said. – As a result, the most ordinary grandfather appeared to us, but as soon as he entered the house, he took off his fur coat and became a good fellow. Of course, he did not demonstrate superpowers, but the agency told us that he was a stuntman and could climb into our house even through the roof. We just don’t have an attic, so it wouldn’t come out through the roof. But even without tricks, my son really liked it. Together with the Snow Maiden, we stretched the web and learned how to make sucker slimes. This year we are waiting for Frost with a mohawk – we have already got a taste, we don’t need simple grandfathers. There will be a new year in the style of punk rock. Surprise for children, delight for adults.

The entertainers of the masses also spied on the idea of ​​mimes from their colleagues who organize holidays at the level of large parks. Mimes are such pantomime actors in funny spherical clothes similar to snowflakes, which express emotions and feelings through body movements, plasticity of hands and exaggerated facial expressions. To better convey emotions, the artists cover their faces with a kind of white makeup.

“Our Santa Claus has a retinue this year,” they said in the Dolgoprudny holiday agency. – These are three mimes that entertain the public if grandfather is invited to a private house, for example, where a lot of children gather. They entertain everyone: both adults and young people.

By the way, one trend stood out from the other. Having survived pandemic times, dads and moms became more tight-fisted and began to chip in on one fabulous grandfather with the whole yard. Sometimes Frost comes as if to a gardening group. To entertain such a horde, two people are not enough. Of course, a good wizard knows how to impress, but he also needs helpers. Moreover, in the company of a grandfather and his granddaughter – and this is annoying – the kids less and less want to see a snowman. It’s time for new heroes.

It is noteworthy that the requirements for the Snow Maidens are also changing. Some kids want to see them in anime style, with black hair in ponytails.

“The Grinch is very popular this year,” Irina Meister, director of the Khimki holiday agency, shares her observations. – Everyone rents this costume and invites them to the party. The elves are active too. Children want pointy-eared guests and dress up in this way themselves. Special silicone ear pads are now sold very actively.

Another trend of this season is the double challenge of the New Year suite. The first time some parents turn to holiday agencies in November is to call trolls, elves or gnomes into the house. The child solemnly hands them a letter to Santa Claus, and they undertake to pass it on to its destination. And in December, the sorcerer himself appears and hands over what was asked for in the letter.
